Functional Consultant, Internship – Summer 2022

The o9 Functional Consultant Internship is a 2-month program designed to give interns real-world, applicable, professional experience by working on specific projects and being involved in day-to-day operations, within our Client Success team, supporting o9 customers post-implementation workflows.

Our internship program, provides both personal and professional growth opportunities including:

● On the job experience, for example:
- Help the Client Success team support current o9 customer post-implementation processes
- Monitor solution usability and uptime by helping to identify and resolve customer issues in a timely fashion, ensuring the accuracy of data loads, and validating the e2e workflows
- Help identify any design issues in the existing setup and co-ordinate with other o9 consultants to solve the business problem

- Contribute to the creation and execution of workflow and data analytics test-cases, work on bugs/issues and track progress at resolving issues using the support tools
- Help support Super User and End User training, for a global user base
- Analyze and process large amounts of data and complement it with intuition to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities, or identify the biggest risks, in order to best support our clients
● Technical: o9 platform + SQL, MDX, T-SQL, R, Python, JavaScript
● Networking: Leader Roundtable sessions, Lunch and learns with leaders across functions, across the global organization, intern social events
● A day in the life exposure: Client interaction, job shadows and 1:1 sessions with recent graduate employees, Client Success/Delivery/Solutions leaders, and more

About You
You’re a fit for a Functional Consultant Intern if you:
● Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program in Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics or a closely related discipline (Graduation date December 2022 to February 2023)
● Have basic knowledge of database structures (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills one or more languages like SQL, MDX, T-SQL, or similar
● Bring an advanced proficiency in Statistical, Optimization and Simulation skills, using R, or Python and JavaScript
● Work comfortably in a client team environment with changing priorities and time pressures
● Have effective communication, be a patient listener with the ability to clearly articulate your viewpoint to manage and deliver to customer expectations, even under pressure
● Have a passion for Analytics and Technology, and a desire to learn about the dynamics of the Supply Chain industry

Position Type: Internship Summer 2022

Compensation: Competitively paid internships, 40 hours a week, typical business hours Monday to Friday, with company-designated holidays
